Indian Navy sources: For the first time, Naval Light Combat Aircraft today landed on aircraft carrier INS Vikramaditya. This is the first time an indigenous fighter aircraft has landed on an aircraft carrier.

DRDO said that after completing extensive trials on the Shore Based Test The facility, the LCA Navy did an arrested landing on INS Vikramaditya successfully today at 10:02 AM. Commodore Jaideep Maolankar did the maiden landing.

The aircraft is developed by DRDO-Light Combat Aircraft landed with the help of an arrester wire. Aeronautical Development Agency is working with the Navy to develop the fighter.
